Whoo's in there?

This weekend has been one of getting organized. Late night online Christmas shopping, tomatoes cooking into marinara sauce, bills and paperwork. The kitchen counter has been mostly cleared off. I finally got to the brown bananas sitting in the corner and the last of the zucchini. In all the kitchen work most of the family has abandoned me for other adventures. You can imagine my surprise when I saw this orange owl peeking in the kitchen window! He or she was nice enough to sit still while I ran for the camera.
