Here are some pictures of the girls in preparation for their Girl Scout party and some of to nights annual family pumpkin carving. This family tradition was started when the oldest kids were little and it has continued for many years. We discovered the time to carve increased with the number of children and pumpkins. We set aside one night the week of Halloween to carve pumpkins and enjoy in their artistic creations.  Since hubby loves to garden, pumpkins are usually plentiful so each child can carve as many as they choose or in most cases as time allows. Dinner followed and then a late bedtime which is not the best for Monday morning but it's the pumpkin carving night and who can sleep with glowing pumpkins:)

My happy ghost. I don't like scary.

Hubby's spider. He does this one every year and the neighbor kids love it. Ironic, he is terrified of spiders!

Smiley's three sided pumpkin with a moon and scarey faces.

Popcorn's ghost. He had a great time carving and thankfully still has all 10 fingers.
