I took on a short term(3 week) teaching assignment at our local clinic. This was a chance for me to freshen up some old cobwebby knowledge that was shoved way back in the cranial cavity for a long time. I spent hours reading and studying after the kiddos went to bed each night. In the mornings I awoke exhausted but willing to tackle this assignment. At the end of each class I felt alive and full of energy.
Auto pilot took over, meals, laundry, errands, bills, homework help, homeschooling, music lessons, etc...it all happened. At one point I thought I will either grow a really big "S" on my chest (Superwoman)or get really sick from lack of sleep and pushing too hard. Guess what no "S" ,but I did get sick. Nothing like a nice weekend sharing the bathroom with Peanut. We both enjoyed the flu and recovered just in time for the rest of the family to get it.
Now we are back to our version of normal:) Life is good:)
Awh, the teaching assignment sounds like a lot of fun. Bummer on the flu though, but glad you and Peanut could share it with the others :)
